Who is a temporary furnished apartment suited for?

Temporary apartments are often rented by expats and company employees who come to Frankfurt for a limited time to work on a specific project, such as in the consulting or IT sectors. Many of our tenants are highly qualified professionals at internationally oriented companies and institutions who are looking to rent an apartment on relatively short notice and with “precise fit.” In addition, there are trainees or newcomers to Frankfurt who are in their probationary period and often need an apartment that exceeds hotel standards for 6–12 months.

For which periods can apartments be rented at City-Residence?

Apartments can generally be rented on a flexible basis for a minimum lease term of three to six months. Lease terms ranging from 6 to 36 months are the norm. Unless otherwise agreed, the tenant may terminate the lease with one month’s notice, effective at the end of the month.

Where are the apartments located?

Most of the apartments are located in Frankfurt’s sought-after central neighborhoods, such as Nordend, Westend, Europaviertel, and Sachsenhausen, while some are also close to workplaces in the area surrounding downtown Frankfurt. Their location in established, urban residential neighborhoods allows tenants to quickly settle into their new surroundings.

How are the apartments equipped?

We offer stylish designer apartments and business apartments, as well as charming 2-room apartments and spacious apartments in the upscale segment. All properties we arrange are fully equipped with bed linens, towels, and kitchen accessories.

Is renting a temporary home complicated?

Once you’ve found a suitable apartment with us that you’d like to rent, it usually takes only a few days to draw up a lease agreement. To do this, we’ll gather the necessary information and clarify the details of the rental so we can finalize the lease agreement. After that, our agency will arrange the date and procedures for the apartment handover.

How much does City-Residence's service cost?

Our service is free of charge for you as a tenant. After signing the lease, you pay the landlord the first month's rent, the security deposit, and, if applicable, the advance payment for the final cleaning.
