Bornheim (population 30.000) is located 2-3 kilometers northeast of the city center. Bornheim is mainly populated by old-established residents of Frankfurt, as well as newcomers and students. The Berger Strasse leads down to the city center and is the main shopping street in Bornheim with many shops, cafés/bars and restaurants.
