The fee collection center (GEZ - public broadcasting license fee) requires a fee of 18,36 Euro each month of every household for the reception of TV stations governed by law. This fee is not included in the rent and has to be paid by the tenant to GEZ directly.

Bad Homburg (population 53.000) is a town located 20 minutes northwest of Frankfurt by car and by train. The nearby Taunus, a low mountain range, offers many hiking trails, routes for downhill biking and other outdoor activities. Bad Homburg is a preferred residential area as an alternative to Frankfurt. It has an attractive city center with beautiful buildings, many shops, stores, restaurants and cafés along the Louisenstrasse, elegant spa gardens in the north, a historical castle in the south and pretty half-timbered houses.
