Information on the rental price

The fee collection center (GEZ - public broadcasting license fee) requires a fee of 18,36 Euro each month of every household for the reception of TV stations governed by law. This fee is not included in the rent and has to be paid by the tenant to GEZ directly.

District Portrait:

Bockenheim (population 41.000) is located 2 kilometers northwest of the city center. As a former laborer, craftsmen and student neighborhood it has kept its friendly character. The main shopping street, the Leipziger Strasse, provides many shops, cafés and restaurants as well as quick public transportation to the city center with the U6 and U7 (underground trains). The area has a mix of building developments, ranging from classic historical buildings and smaller dwellings to modern apartment complexes. Located in the north of Bockenheim is a beautiful neighborhood with large mansions. The eastern part of Bockenheim adjoins with the Westend. In this area, where the University used to be located, a new development with cultural institutions, offices and residential buldings is being constructed. In the past few years Bockenheim has expanded its district. In the City-West and the Rebstock area, located west and southwest of Bockenheim, the majority of the buildings are modern apartment complexes and office buildings, accompanied by a few restaurants and cafés.
